What we keep and how to ask us to remove it.

Effective October 20, 2026

We are a small church, and we want to be plain with you. We never sell what you tell us, and we never use it for advertising. This page covers our website and Producer, the app we use to broadcast our Sunday services.

Our website

You can read every page of leavenworthbaptist.com without telling us who you are. The site sets no cookies of its own, and it runs no advertising or tracking scripts.

When you write to us

The "Contact us" form on our home page asks for your name and email, and you may add a phone number, a message and what you would like help with. We keep what you send on the church's web server and email it to the church office so someone can answer you.

The "Let's stay in touch" form at the end of our Gospel presentation asks for your name, email and phone number, and whether we may text you. We keep it on our server and add you to a contact list in Clearstream, the service the church uses to send text messages. If you say yes to texts, Pastor Michael sends you one thank-you text. You can reply STOP at any time.

Gospel presentation views

To know whether the Gospel presentation is helping anyone, we count how many people start it and how long they watch. Each visit gets a random number that is not tied to your name, along with whether you are on a phone or a computer. That is all we record.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, our server keeps a short log of the pages it sends and the internet address that asked for them. We use it only to keep the site running and safe, and older logs are deleted as new ones are written. The forms also remember your address for ten minutes so no one can flood us with messages; that is never saved.

Your browser

The site saves a few small settings in your own browser, such as whether you prefer the events list or the calendar, and a copy of the sermon list so it loads quickly. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Other services on our pages

Our sermons and live services play from YouTube, embedded in its privacy-enhanced mode. The giving page shows ChurchTrac's giving form; ChurchTrac handles your gift and your card details, and our website never sees them. Our printable order of worship loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

Producer, our broadcast app

Producer is the app on the church's booth computer that runs our slides and starts our live broadcasts. Our church connects its own YouTube channel, Facebook Page and Twitch account to it. Producer uses those accounts only to create each live broadcast or live video, to set its title, description and category, and to read the stream key so the service can go out.

The sign-in tokens from those accounts stay on the booth computer, stored in Windows Credential Manager. They are never sent anywhere else, sold or shared. Producer collects no information about the people who watch our broadcasts.

Producer uses the YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account to it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's use of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The church can disconnect Producer at any time from Google's account permissions page, from Business Integrations in Facebook's settings, or from Connections in Twitch's settings. Our website's sermon list also reads our own public YouTube channel through the YouTube API Services.

Asking us to remove your information

If you have written to us through the website and want what you sent removed, or you have a question about any of this, please contact us and we will take care of it.
